Boston Manor announce 'Halo' and UK Tour
Blackpool punx, Boston Manor have announced their Debut album with the release of lead single 'Halo' via Daniel P Carter's Radio 1 Rock Show. Alongside the release of a single comes the announce of their next album 'Welcome To The Neighbourhood', if 'Halo' is anything to go by then the album, out September 7th, is sure to be a contender for Album Of The Year. Described as a soundtrack to disenfranchisement set in a fictionalised version of the band’s hometown, vocalist Henry Cox talks about his hometown, and the place where the album was written, saying “Blackpool was this booming town. It was a holiday destination, a place where you can go to forget all your troubles and now things here are just so fucked up – there are huge drug problems and a 40 per cent unemployment rate in the winter. It was once this beautiful thing and it’s become a little bit broken.”
The album is sure to be engaging for any fans feeling they're stuck in a cycle, whether that be in Blackpool or on the other side of the world, an emotionally fuelled album be sure to keep an eye out for its release.
