Louder News - Woes premiere new tour documentary from their European run with Millencolin
It's certainly an exciting time to be a Woes fan! With a plethora of shows scheduled for the upcoming months - including a UK headline tour starting at the end of the month, followed by a run supporting Trash Boat in the autumn - and a new album, 'Awful Truth', mere weeks away from release, one could be forgiven for thinking that this Edinburgh-based quartet have enough to be contending with for the time being! Never ones to settle for a calm moment, however, the band have also today released an epic tour documentary, filmed over the course of their recent European run supporting skate-punk legends Millencolin. The half-hour documentary, shot by Scottish photographer and director Marc Sharp, follows the band as they embark on a tour which, like so many bands' early overseas trips, was blessed with its soaring highs, as well as some unfortunate mishaps! A rare glimpse into the life of touring musicians for those on the outside: while for those who have traversed those same roads before, it is a nostalgic adventure through the delightful dog days of touring. From meeting awestruck fans, to backstage antics (and some inevitable road rage!), this is Woes' European adventure, told in glorious technicolour!
