Louder News: State Champs release new video for 'Frozen' to celebrate one year of 'Living Proof'
Updated: Feb 6, 2020
Pop punk princes State Champs are celebrating the 1-year anniversary of their latest album, 'Living Proof's release with a video for 'Frozen' one of the record's tracks most beloved by their fans. The quartet, -hailing from Albany, New York- let 'Living Proof' loose on the world to a surprisingly lukewarm reception, where the record's poppier elements were met with something of a disappointed sigh from the isolated cohort of punk purists within the ranks of their fanbase. However, over the year, the album has matured like a fine wine, and the blazing melodies and palpably rousing energy of the band's third full-length now hold just as special a place in their discography as any of their earlier releases. A year on, and State Champs are a band confident in their newfound creative direction, and geared up to already begin work on 'Living Proof's successor. Before then, however, the band are taking a look back at the tour that followed the album before, in the video for 'Frozen'. Shot and edited by the band's photographer and videographer of choice, Elliot Ingham, the video compiles together footage from throughout the Living Proof tour, bringing the infectious energy and passion of their live shows directly to your screen- a perfect way to kick off your summer if ever there was one!
