LOUDER NEWS: Crossfaith release new single 'Feel Alive'

For a lot of people when they think of Crossfaith, the first thing they think of is the blend of EDM and metalcore that is synonymous with the band - plus their high energy performances that are truly one of a kind!

However, in their latest single 'Feel Alive' the band embrace a more sensitive and emotional tone, inspired by the "chaos" of the past year-and-a-bit. Of course, they still incorporate drum and bass breakdowns - which the band worked with Josh Friend of Modestep to create - and heavy vocals so any die hard fan will still be satisfied with their latest release.

As the first track that the band wrote post-COVID, the lyrics and general message of the song inspires hope in a time where most people felt like they were just about holding their heads above water. Hope not just for the individual, but perhaps for the future of music universally, shown in Crossfaith's never ending desire to experiment and genre-bend, and the use of audio of fans clapping from the first Crossfaith gig since the pandemic.

Without a doubt, the global pandemic will continue to have influence in new music releases for a while, but 'Feel Alive' is a track that beautifully encompasses how many felt during the peak of isolation, and whilst simultaneously showing a light at the end of the tunnel.
