LOUDER NEWS: Fever 333 drop new music video for 'Wrong Generation', featuring Travis Barker
Fever 333 are back it again with the release of the official video for track 'Wrong Generation', the lead single from their acclaimed 2020 EP of the same name. The video features Blink 182 drummer, and general musical icon, Travis Barker.
Following the success of the EP, 'Wrong Generation' as a single has become part of the soundtrack that represents the activism against racial injustice that ran through last year. This is a theme that has carried through Fever 333’s musical career, with vocalist Jason Aalon Butler writing the song following 13 days of Black Lives Matter protests, as a result of the murder of George Floyd.
In the newly released music video, Butler is seen swinging around a grunge-y looking room, with Barker expertly playing the drums behind him. If you have been lucky enough to catch the band live, or seen one of their innovative livestream shows, you’ll agree that director Djay Brawner has managed to recreate the sense of chaos that is expected at a Fever 333 show. This, combined with the homage Blur’s “Song 2” music video, which Butler says is "one of the coolest music videos ever made", creates something uniquely Fever 333.
