LOUDER NEWS: Fiddlehead announce new album 'Between The Richness'
Post-hardcore supergroup Fiddlehead have just announced their new album 'Between The Richness' alongside releasing lead single 'Million Times.' Formed by members of hardcore royalty Have Heart and emo icons Basement, amongst others, the new album is a follow up to 2018's 'Springtime & Blind,' which received a rapturous reception.
Fronted by Have Heart's Pat Flynn, 'Between The Richness' will see the legendary frontman explore some significant developments in his life which occurred inbetween 'Springtime & Blind' and the newest record. He said: "It just so happened that I ended up getting married, I had a child, and it was around the 10-year anniversary of my father's passing."
Flynn explains how the record charts the relationship between joy and grief, and the complexity of life's rich tapestry: "The name of the record is called 'Between The Richness' because it’s important to me to explore the weird feeling of happiness and sadness, because that’s just where I am right now.
“My son’s name is Richard and my father’s name is Richard, so it’s literally between the two of them - it’s the richness of life and the richness of death."
'Between The Richness' is due for release on May 21st via Run For Cover Records- pre-order the record here:
