LOUDER NEWS: IDLES Frontman Announces Intimate ‘In Conversation’ Shows

In light of the upcoming IDLES album ‘Crawler’, their spirited frontman Joe Talbot has announced a series of small-scale Question and Answer performances, with Creation Records founder Alan McGee.

IDLES, known for their political yet deeply optimistic songwriting set to a music which is as experimental as it is angry, will release ‘Crawler’ on November 12th.

Early signs from the Bristol group's fourth studio outing speak of a more personal affair, as lead single ‘The Beachland Ballroom’, while on the surface speaking of a night of revelry ending in sadness and despair, feels both confessional and cathartic. As Talbot said of the single: “The song is sort of an allegory of feeling lost and getting through it. It's one that I really love singing."

These intimate 'Q&A' shows will serve to take a deeper dive into the album, its themes and its recording process, as well as musing on music, life and politics. They will begin with an interview session with McGee, after which audience members will have an opportunity to put their own questions to Talbot.
